Looking for a way to start the holiday season? Check out these fun holiday themed toys for your baby or toddler.
December is my favorite month of the year and I love the idea of celebrating the holidays all month long.
Especially now, with our new little one, I want to make the holidays (and everyday) extra special.
We decided to start the tradition of a North Pole Breakfast this year, just for something fun to kick off the season.
I was inspired by The Sandbox Academy to start the tradition with B this year.
In preparing and setting up for our special breakfast, I wanted to get her just a few holiday themed books and toys.

B loves the little people toys right now and they have the cutest sets for Christmas. There are multiple nativity scenes, such as this small set and the larger one in the picture above.
They also have a Santa train set that I am going to get this year for B’s beginning of the holiday season bag.
One thing that will get B to sit still is taking apart chunky puzzles, so I was excited to find ones that are Christmas themed.
They are Melissa & Doug, so will hold up for years. They have Santa’s Sleigh and a Christmas Tree.
I love these toys from Step 2 and think B will play with them during the holiday season for a few years.
They have an Advent Calendar and Snowman too.
The Stacking Snowman toy could be used all winter. Also, if you have a Marshalls nearby, they sometimes have a great selection of Melissa and Doug toys.
The felt flap books by Nosy Crow are a great addition to any baby’s library and I was so excited to find one about Santa!
At almost 1 year old, B plays with her flap books all the time, even by herself. I know she will love finding this in her beginning of the holiday season bag.
I am so excited to celebrate the season with my little family and add in some of these fun themed toys to our rotation.
