What can you possibly put in an Easter Basket for a four month old? It is Baby B’s first Easter, I am so excited to start fun holiday traditions with her. One of them is putting an Easter Basket together! I was so excited to get to do this, but wasn’t sure what to include in her basket. So we wandered through Target to see what we could find.

My husband and I had so much fun finding things for Baby B. There wasn’t much for babies in the actual Easter section of Target, but we did find a few cute stuffed toys. The other items were in the Toys or Baby section. These are just some ideas of what we found to include.
1. Stuffed toys
Every Easter basket needs a stuffed bunny! Stuffed animals are always a great addition and most babies love to feel the soft textures. Right now, Baby B loves soft things and stuffed toys, so we found a cute bunny and chick to put in her basket.
2. Board books
Board books are perfect for Baby’s Easter basket. I love this Peter Rabbit book that we found at Target. It goes through the entire alphabet and is just really cute. I normally wouldn’t spend that much on a book (especially since we are on a budget!), but I really loved it.
Ebay is a great place to find board books on a budget. I found Duck & Goose: Here Comes the Easter Bunny for $3.99 (with free shipping). I think it said it was like new, but it looked brand new when it arrived.
3. Rattle
There are so many cute rattles at Target and on Amazon, and they are another item to include in Baby’s Easter basket. We got this one from Amazon, because it has chewy petals and the handle was skinny, so Baby B can easily grab it.
4. Bath toys
I love these bath animals. Baby B has a rubber ducky that she just started holding during bath time, so I think she will like these too. They are something cute and different to add to an Easter Basket.
5. Fun bibs
This isn’t the most exciting thing to include, but can be cute and practical. Baby B is almost ready to start trying baby food, so will need bibs soon. I really like these from Target. They are soft and you get three for $7.99!
6. Spoons and Bowls
Again, this is not the most exciting Easter gift, but practical for a lot of babies. And the way Baby B looks at us when we are eating now, she may be so excited to get some spoons of her own! We got her bowls from Bella Tunno and you can them here. They are a small business and for every product sold, they give one meal to a child. Their products are so cute and I love their mission.
7. Teething Rings
Teething rings are perfect to add and something Baby B already enjoys, even though she isn’t teething yet. I think she just likes something different to put in her mouth besides her entire hand. Bella Tunno also has the cutest teething rings with fun sayings. Check them out here.
8. Hair Bows
Baby bows are so sweet to add for a little girls. We definitely splurge on Baby Bling Bows. They have some adorable prints out for spring, so we got this one to add to Baby B’s basket. I think they stay on better than other bows we have tried. They also were the only bows that fit when she was a tiny newborn, and stretch a ton, so will keep fitting as she grows.
9. Baby Paper
This is such a simple and neat toy. It is soft and makes noise, and just something different to add to the toy collection. Baby B loves the crinkly part of toys, so I found this baby paper. She also enjoys hold on to soft things, so this will give her another texture to play with.
10. Plastic eggs
Even though this year, I would leave the eggs empty, I am going to add some plastic eggs in Baby B’s basket. I think she will like just holding them or rolling them in front of her. It’s something cute to add and you can get them at the dollar store!
Don’t forget the basket! I recommend getting that at the dollar store as well. I was lazy and got ours at Target, and that was not good for the budget, but we’re not perfect.
Getting these items and putting her basket together was so much fun. I can’t wait to think of other traditions to start with Baby B that we will continue for years to come.
